Die 17-jährige Manon verlässt die Schweizer Berge auf der Suche nach ihrem Vater, der unauffindbar ist. Sie geht neue Bindungen ein, begegnet ihrer ersten Liebe, und strebt schliesslich das an, was sie ursprünglich werden wollte: Profi-Eishockeyspielerin.

En fugue, Manon, dix-sept ans, quitte les montagnes suisses à la recherche de son père, qui reste introuvable. En découvrant de nouveaux liens et son premier amour, elle s’efforce de suivre la voie qu’elle avait tracée sur la glace: devenir hockeyeuse professionnelle.

Seventeen-year-old Manon leaves the Swiss mountains to head out in search of her missing father. As she forms new bonds and encounters her first love, she is determined to follow the path she has set herself on the ice: to become a professional hockey player.

Manon, diciassettenne in fuga, lascia le montagne svizzere in cerca del padre, introvabile. Costruendo nuovi legami e vivendo il suo primo amore, la ragazza è determinata a perseguire la strada che aveva tracciato sul ghiaccio: diventare una giocatrice di hockey professionista.

Durch Manons Reise wollte ich zeigen, wie schwierig es für die Jugendlichen von heute ist, ihren Platz in einer Welt zu finden, in der zwar alles möglich ist, ihnen aber nichts geschenkt wird und alles erkämpft werden muss.

Attraverso il viaggio di Manon, volevo mostrare quanto sia difficile per gli adolescenti di oggi trovare il proprio posto in un mondo in cui, mentre tutto è a portata di mano, nulla è regalato e tutto deve essere conquistato.

À travers l’histoire de Manon, j'ai souhaité raconter la difficulté pour une adolescente d’aujourd’hui de se positionner, de trouver sa place dans un monde où, si tout est accessible, rien n’est donné, et tout est à aller chercher.

Through Manon's journey, I wanted to show how difficult it is for today's teenagers to find their place in a world where, while everything is accessible, nothing is given, and everything must to be fought for.
