Steven Michael Hayes is a Swiss-American writer and director based in Zurich Switzerland. Jill (2022) is his first feature film. His short film, Meyers, was nominated for Best Short at the Swiss Film Prize and won several awards including the Prix Action Light at the Locarno Film Festival in 2003. Jill was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Swiss Film Prize 2022 and the Prix du Public at the Solothurner Filmtage.
