The fifth day of Locarno74 features a Piazza Grande filled with events: the double bill of Bassel Ghandour’s The Alleys and Gaspar Noé’s Vortex, and the 70th anniversary of the Refugee Convention with Gillian Triggs. Before all that, though, there’s the Concorso internazionale with Natalya Kudryashova’s Gerda and Edwin’s Seperti Dendam Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas, and the Concorso Cineasti del presente with Marí Alessandrini’s Zahorí and Kit Zauhar’s Actual People.
