The must-see destination for film lovers every summer is Locarno, in Italian-speaking Switzerland. Indeed, one of the most original, oldest, and most prestigious festivals on the global scene is between Lake Maggiore and the Swiss mountains. Today the Locarno Film Festival is the meeting point for films that are actual discoveries, a local and international audience, the stars of the seventh art, and audiovisual professionals from every country. The unrepeatable encounters, favored by the city's unique atmosphere, allow new talents to make a name for themselves, stars to show their most unseen side, and audiences to rediscover the pleasure of watching a film together in one of the world's largest open-air cinemas: the Piazza Grande.
Anyone from any walk of life is welcome to apply. Our number one priority is to share with the world how unique and exciting it is to attend the Locarno Film Festival, and we are therefore open to welcoming those interested as long as they fit into the two following requirements:
Creating content such as interviews, film reviews, daily vlogs, how-to guides, or anything you might see fit
The deadline for applications is January 30 at 23:59 CET. Selected participants will be contacted no later than March 15.
