Born in Lugano in 1995, Agnese Làposi grew up in Ticino, Switzerland. In 2019, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in film directing at ECAL, in Lausanne. Two of her most recent short films, Alma nel branco and Zu Dritt (the latter co-directed with Benjamin Bucher), played at various international festivals (Palm Springs, Premiers Plans, Oberhausen, IDFA, Visions du Réel). After her studies in Switzerland, she did a Master’s in documentary cinema in Lussas, where she made the short La patience des vignes, released in 2021.
The workshop is a valuable moment of experimentation: filming familiar lands in the company of young international directors, and assisted by Frammartino’s sensitivity, is an opportunity to renew my vision of a region I’m well acquainted with and come up with multiple ways of filming and recounting it.
