Antonio Valerio Frascella was born in 1991 in Lombardy, the son of Apulian migrants. In 2014, he graduated in Film and Television Writing at the Scuola Civica in Milan. Driven by a political and radical view of the cinematic medium, he made his first works independently. After a few years, he returned to studying, and in 2020 he completed his specialization in film directing at CISA in Locarno with the film Intre montes.
With this workshop, I’d like to rediscover the city I lived for a brief – but important – period of my life, and reconnect with a territory that is at once familiar and unknown to me.
