The screenings of the Concorso internazionale (CI), of the Concorso Cineasti del presente (CdP) and of the Piazza Grande (PG) are accessible for the press and industry accredited. In case of crowding, priority access is given to the press. All the screenings will take place at the Teatro Kursaal (Largo Zorzi 1, 6600 Locarno).
Please note that film critics (print, web, radio, TV, social media and any other media) of world and international premieres are subject to embargo and can only be published 30 minutes after the start of public screenings at the Locarno Film Festival. More general articles can be published before.
The Press Room is a place to work and accessible to all those with press accreditation. It is equipped with desks, internet connection, computers and printers. The room is located at the Press Village @Istituto Santa Caterina (Via Santa Caterina 4, 6600 Locarno) and is open daily (03.08 - 13.08) from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
At the building Società Elettrica Sopracenerina (SES, Piazza Grande 5, 6600 Locarno), there will be the Press Desk, where you can request further information, materials, press kits and submit requests for interviews with guests attending the Festival. The Press Desk is open from 09:00 am to 07:00 pm.
Free service for accredited people, available every day from August 3 to 14. Reservations are possible only until Monday, August 1. Places are limited and reservation is mandatory. For reservation please fill out the following form and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org

Press screenings of the Pardi di domani section – including Corti d'autore films – and Open Doors Screenings are available on the Online Digital Library as of August 2. Films in the Fuori concorso section and world and international premieres presented in the Retrospective and Locarno Kids Screenings sections are available on the platform starting 24 hours before the public screening.
Films can be viewed only once, with the option to pause. All films will be available, unless otherwise indicated, until August 31, 2022.
Access to the Digital Library is restricted to Press and Industry accreditors.
