A few seconds before the last hand, Locarno72 drops its trump card. The penultimate day of the Festival is the day of the Pope of Trash, John Waters, who will receive the Pardo d'onore Manor and screen his film Cecil B. Demented as part of the last Crazy Midnight. Before that, Piazza Grande will show Adoration, the final chapter in Fabrice du Welz's Ardennes Trilogy. The competitions are also coming to an end: The Sciences of Fiction closes out the Concorso internazionale, while Mariam is the epilogue for Cineasti del presente. Last but not least, the event of the local spring, with the film created during the workshop supervised by Béla Tarr in partnership with the CISA film school: Under the God.
