The seventh edition of the São Paulo Industry Academy took place from 20 to 23 November, in the frame of the BrLab.
The Locarno Industry Academy in Brazil was co-organized by BrLab and the Locarno Film Festival, with support from Projeto Paradiso and Spcine, and media support from LatAm Cinem.
Along with the Industry Academies in Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile and Colombia, the SPIA was held under the umbrella of the Locarno Industry Academy Latin America. The program is addressed to emerging professionals, preferably under 40 years old, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the areas of sales, marketing, online and traditional distribution, exhibition, programming, curatorship and cultural management, and with a good level of English and Spanish (written and spoken). Below, the profiles of the selected participants for 2023.
